'For Your Entertainment' will be Adam Lambert's first effort to showcase his talent not only as a singer but also as a songwriter.
Adam Lambert has become talk of the town since participating on "American Idol" season 8. Through his signature powerful voice, the singer who always applies fingernail polish and eye make-up on every occasion has won music lovers' heart.
When losing the first position to fellow participant Kris Allen, Adam stays positive and insists that "first or second, it doesn't matter" to him. What really important is "about tomorrow" when he records his debut album and showcases it to his fans, so he said.
Adam releases his major-label debut album "For Your Entertainment" via 19 recordings/RCA on November 23, one day after performing at 2009 American Music Awards. In this album, he does not only take the duty as a singer but also takes the chance to co-write several songs with the likes of Kara DioGuardi and Greg Wells.
Other hottest music talents who have lent helping hands included Lady GaGa, Pink, Dr. Luke, Max Martin, RedOne, OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder and Weezer's Rivers Cuomo. "I feel so lucky to have been granted true opportunity to work with some of the top producers and writers in popular music," said Adam in a press release. "This album is a reflection of their genius and the collaborative energy that they were gracious enough to share with me."
The first offering from the album is the title track which is described as "dance music with a glam rock shuffle beat." Its accompanying music video has been filmed earlier this month and will be debuted sometime soon.
As a promotional effort, Adam Lambert will make a special live performance on ABC's "Good Morning America" on November 25. Two days prior, he is scheduled to tape a performance on CBS' "Late Show with David Letterman" which will also be televised on the day of his GMA appearance. Moreover, he will reunite with Kris Allen and Allison Iraheta, performing in one of the U.S. cities which gets the most demands on Ryan Seacrest's blog.
