Heartfelt plea: Vanessa Perroncel, left, said she still loves Wayne Bridge, right

The lingerie model who had an affair with footballer John Terry has begged her former partner Wayne Bridge to take her back.

Vanessa Perroncel, who had a four-month relationship with the sacked England captain, has made an astonishing plea to Bridge, the father of her three-year-old son.

Manchester City star Bridge was a close friend of Terry, 29, until news of the affair broke last week.

Now Miss Perroncel has revealed she is still in love with Bridge - from whom she split last summer - and is hoping for a reconciliation for the sake of son Jaydon.

She told friends: 'It would be amazing to have him back. I wish we never split.

'I know how painful it's been for me to read all the stories this week about all these men I'm supposed to have slept with so I can only imagine what it's been like for him.'

Close friend Antonia Graham, 29, told the Mirror: 'Vanessa has never stopped loving Wayne but she doesn't know if he feels the same.

'When they split up in the summer it was because of a number of things, not some big bust-up. She was engaged to him and wanted to spend the rest of her life with him, and nothing's changed.

'He is the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with, not John. She just hopes it is not too late.'

Terry has allegedly paid Miss Perroncel £800,000 not to sell her story to the press.

It comes as fresh allegations emerged over the weekend about other women Terry has slept with.

The Chelsea player was forced to make an emotional phone call to wife Toni - who has fled to Dubai - to deny having a one-night stand with former Big Brother contestant Orlaith McAllister.

Miss McAllister - now a topless model - allegedly slept with Terry when Toni was pregnant with his twins, Summer Rose and Georgie John, now three.

Terry called his wife in the early hours of Sunday morning to deny reports in one of the tabloids that he had bedded Belfast-born McAllister, 30, after meeting her at the Elysium nightclub in central London - the club where Vanessa Perroncel used to work

Messages of support: Chelsea fans give Terry their backing at yesterday's match

Vocal: Chelsea fans show whose team they're on

Terry was stripped of the England captaincy on Friday after his alleged affair with Miss Perroncel emerged and after the Daily Mail revealed how his box at Wembley was being 'touted out' for £4,000 a time.

England manager Fabio Capello has made Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand the captain, with Liverpool's Steven Gerrard as vice-captain.

It emerged today that Terry phoned his successor after the decision to show his support.

He told Rio: 'We stand shoulder to shoulder'.

A friend told The Sun: 'John was the first person on the phone to Rio to offer him all the support he can. He was clearly hurt by his demotion, but knows the most important thing is that everyone pulls together for England.'

Meanwhile heartbroken Toni showed her emotional turmoil as she sunbathed in Dubai, where she is currently staying with her parents, children and two friends.

The slogan on the front read: 'I love the chaos,' but the message on the back said: 'I hate the confusion.'

She looked deep in thought as she stared at her diamond wedding ring while sitting on a sunlounger.

Back in England, a defiant Terry let the football do the talking as he made his first public appearance since being sacked as England captain.

Before yesterday's match Health Minister Mike O'Brien weighed into the furore claiming manager Fabio Capello's decision to demote the player was 'crass'.

The Chelsea skipper's own response was to lead his team to a 2-0 win over Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.

Terry received strong support from the home crowd, with many turning out in Team Terry T-shirts, or waving banners hailing their 'leader and legend'.
