The World's Largest Tree House
Wednesday, July 21, 2010
This stunning threehouse can be found in Cumberland County, Tennessee. It's 97 feet high and it'sbuilt on a 80-foot-long white oak. The treehouse has 10 floors and its size is about 8,000 to 10,000 square feet. It took 258,000 nails and $12,000 to build it.
The credit for this amazing place goes to a man named Horace Burgess. He began the project back in the 1980s and has been going ever since, with much help of course. He has put a lot of time, effort, blood, sweat and tears to provide such a great attraction to many visitors. There are hundreds a year that come to see this place
