The Villain In The "Spider-man" Reboot Is The Lizard?

As Rhys Ifans has been announced to play the films lead villain, rumors are suggesting that he may most deffo be playing The Lizard in the upcoming reboot. Now this has not yet been confirmed by Sony, but I'm sure they'll release some news soon.
