STREET ART!

I felt like this was a very appropriate blog post for this week. Why? Because this week is Art Basel in Miami. Art Basel is a week in Miami where different artists from around the world gather together to do different art pieces, as well as art shows around town. It's pretty dope. All of these artists do their thing in the Midtown/Wynwood area of Miami, so if you wanna see what I'm talking about, take a nice stroll down N Miami Avenue.

Now, back to the pictures above, while I was walking around New York City I stumbled across this huge empty canvas, I began to wonder what it was going to be used for, who was going to advertise there, etc etc. A couple days later, I am walking down the same street and I see this being painted on it. Come to find out that an artist got approved by the city to do his own graffiti mural on this main street in Soho. It was awesome watching him do his thing, seeing how he puts it all together... Very interesting stuff if I must say so myself.
