The UC was rocking last night

The Bulls all but clinched the #1 seed last night by beating the Celtics 97-81. Derrick Rose led the way with 30-8-5, and Luol Deng chipped in 23 points. But Kurt Thomas was my key to the game. He played tough minutes. He grabbed clutch rebounds, played solid defense and fouled someone hard if they got near the rim. He threw Big Baby Davis all around the floor and reminded me of what playoff basketball used to be like.
The Celtics on the other hand, looked old and tired. And if this is the new look Celtics, I'll gaurantee they won't make it past the 2nd round. Their big four went 15 for 43, and looked horrid doing it. The Bulls defense should get a lot of the credit, but it seemed as though Boston stopped attacking the rim in the 2nd half. They settled for jumpers and it cost them the game and possible the #2 seed in the playoffs.
With 3 games remaining the Bulls need just one win to clinch home court advantage throughout the Eastern conference playoffs. They are also only a game back of the Spurs for best record in the NBA. I think city planners can start preparation for the parade in early June, now.
