5 years later the two teams that once faced one another are back in The NBA Finals, & DAMN does it feel good to be back. After a season full of doubters and shit-talkers, The Miami Heat have silenced them all by making it to The NBA Finals. Not only by making it there, but in the fashion that they did it, going through The 76ers (whatever), CELTICS (most importantly), AND The Chicago Bulls. 2/3 of those teams were ones that they struggled against throughout the regular season, but as we've come to notice in these past couple of weeks, the regular season ain't shit when it comes to The Playoffs!
Even though they've made it this far, just making it to The Finals WILL NOT suffice... Not for The Godfather - PAT RILEY, The Young Apprentice - Spoelstra, The Big Three - Wade/LBJ/Bosh, or anyone else on The Miami Heat, they needa win that bitch, too! And they are going to do just that, I know it.
It's definitely not going to be easy with The Mavericks hungry for their first championship trophy + the fact that the last time The Mavs made it this far they were knocked out by the exact same team they're about to face, but The Heat are up for the challenge, no doubt.
The first game is on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2011. Perfect timing seeing as how I get back from Kenya earlier on that same day! Tune in to watch a hell of a game.
