The Miami Heat Sign Erick Dampier.

If you watched The Heat vs. Pacers game last night, you know why Pat Riley decided to sign Center Erick Dampier. The Heat are in dire need of a big man, that I believe. Do I believe that as soon as we acquire one, all of our problems will be fixed? No, I don't believe that. For all of you out there whom think that is going to occur, you are dead wrong. Dampier will definitely help out as far as a presence in the post goes, rebounding, blocking, etc etc... especially with Udonis Haslem being out for a couple of months because of a foot injury. In order to make room for Erick Dampier, The Miami Heat waived Guard Jerry Stackhouse - that was quick. Signing Dampier will not make Wade play better, nor will it make the team automatically click & start flowing. The Heat need more time to gel. That's a fact. The Heat also need Mike Miller to get healthy and get back out on the court!
