While I was watching my absolute favourite show, Gossip Girl of course I came across this dope track by Oh Land called Wolf & I. Right when Prince Louis proposes to Blair the track cuts in at the perfect time. There was just something about the melody and the way that she sang that really spoke to me. Its Bey Season-- "Girls (Who Run the World)"!

I'm a Beyonce fan but the last few months she has been out of the limelight and her fits have been sub-par, this is the best I've seen her in months! I definitely LOVE the floral dress plus her hair and skin are on point!! I won't lie I'm not really a fan of all the different patterns she's trying to throw together with the snakeskin bag and shoes. Jay on the other hand keeps it calm and cool in his denim jacket and army green cargo's, cute! Bey and her hubby Jay were spotted at the Champs- Elysees in Paris.

I'm really feeling the musical direction Jay is taking, being Beyonce's new manager. They decided to spice up Bey's sound with some island flavour. They sampled Major Lazer on the beat and the song is F-I-R-E! Definitely a summer banger, with the infectious beat and girl power lyrics how can it not be? Take a listen below!

I'm completely obsessed with this song and video especially since there are SO MANY sexy men in the video. When this song bumps in the clubs its sure to shut it down in my opinion at least, it makes me wanna do some Ciara body rolls and a Rihanna slow whine LOL. Willow Smith's "21st Century Girl" video

A few days ago Miss "Whip my Hair" aka Willow Smith dropped her second
video "21st Century Girl" and its definitely a fun track for the kiddies. For me I feel like the song is a mish mash of Rihanna and Ke$ha with a sprinkle of Willow herself. I've listened to the track a few times and the song hasn't penetrated me yet, I can't really get into it, I guess its missing that infectious melody that "Whip my hair" had. Either way I can't knock the 9 year old for doing her thing, maybe I set the standard up way to high for her. I may not be a big lover of the track but I'm sure this will be a hit amongst the other 21st century girls, check the video below!

A few days ago Miss "Whip my Hair" aka Willow Smith dropped her second

I actually found out about the group from a friend who suggested that I take in their music, since then I've been spreading the word about this new group I feel like they are what modern day music is missing filling that R&B void that has become a mix between pop and house these days.

The group consists of twins Paris and Amber Strother and Anita Bias who write and produce their own music, talk about talented! Their sound has an old school vibe to it, reminds me of something similar to the sound of Sly and the Family Stone but with a modern jazzy twist to it. My idea of a great song is one where after 4 days of listening to it straight I don't get tired of it and this song has definitely accomplished that. Twenty8 Artist Management and Three60 Management Present: Show Stephens x Lokz x Haley Small

I know we're hella late with this post but with the holidays and family time lifes been a lil' hectic. A few weeks ago Twenty8 Artist Management and Three60 Management held a private showcase for their upcoming artists and it was dope. The showcase was held at LOL Lounge and featured Toronto artists Haley Small, Show Stephens, and Lokz. It wouldn't be a showcase without some industry tastemakers such as Karl Wolf, Trey Armstrong and Mark Taylor who came out to support the amazing talent.

I'm all for bringing back that good R&B and I truly believe these artists have what it takes to really make a mark on the music industry, Haley is very talented and has such a beautiful voice that has such a soothing quality to it. As for the gentlemen, there's just something about a man that can sing that really does something to us females and believe me Show and Lokz have that little somethin' somethin'. No Boys Allowed!!

Ms. Keri Baby has dropped her new album "No Boys Allowed" last week and the reviews are mixed in regards to the quality of the content on the album I personally haven't fully taken in all of the songs on the album so I wouldn't be able to give an informative review. With her fiery girl power lyrics and infectious beats I'm sure the album is a hit. Out of the few songs I've listened to I will say that I'm obsessed with "One night stand" feat Chris Brown that song bumps on my Ipod all day everyday. I personally love the title of the album because I'm totally about joining the "No Boys Allowed" team, don't worry Freshmen I haven't switched teams lol it just means that I'm too grown to be talking to little boys so bring on the men! Keri has gone as far as hitting up her girl Melody Ehsani to design "No Boys Allowed" necklaces which I think is dope. I'm totally about getting one to add to my collection of accessories!
