Britney's much trumpeted appearance on show Glee has yet to be screened.

But a new promo of the cast performing her song Me Against The Music shows she may have competition from cast member Heather Morris who performs her hit song.

Dressed in a black suit with a matching trilby Heather looked uncannily like the pop star as she gyrated her way through her dance routine.

The episode doesn't air in the U.S until Tuesday night.

But excitement over the much-anticipated episode is building after the release of a new preview.

This is the second look viewers have been given - and it looks like Britney fans will not be disappointed.


It's Heather....: Britney has said she is really excited to see the show which will use six of her songs


In the first preview Fox released, viewers get a brief sneak peek at each of the six Spears songs that are used in the show.

These include: Hit Me Baby (One More Time), Oops I Did It Again, Stronger, Slave For You, Toxic and Me Against The Music.

in the second preview, we get more footage of the Me Against the Music number, featuring John Stamos.

While filming the episode Britney uploaded pictures of herself on the set to her Twitter social networking page with the message: 'What's up GLEEKS? Having so much fun on set!!

'Can't wait for you guys to see the episode!'

The episode showcases the singing and dancing talents of Heather Morris, who pays Brittany in the Emmy-winning show.

Morris was originally brought in as a trainer to teach the Single Ladies dance to Chris Colfer and Jenna Ushkowitz, having previously been a backing dancer for Beyonce.


When the show's producers saw her they offered her the role of Brittany, the show's resident cheerleader.

The synopsis of the show reveals that Brittany and the crew try to persuade Mr Schuester to do a Britney Spears-themed number, but he is reluctant as he deems her 'too edgy.'

Last night's season two Glee premiere pulled in 12.3 million viewers - a 20 per cent increase from the shows first season premiere, and the Britney Spears episode is likely to attract even more.

'It felt like a part of me was rejected': Why Elle broke down when Charlotte was eliminated from Britain's Next Top Model

The supermodel became emotional as announced that the girl she had championed for 12 weeks would be leaving the show... But in an exclusive interview, Charlotte Holmes admits that she knew her time was up.

With her bubbly personality, girl-next-door looks and the unwavering support of Elle Macpherson, Charlotte Holmes was the odds-on favourite to win Britain's Next Top Model.

But even more surprising than her shock elimination was the emotional response of the usually composed Elle Macpherson, who has championed the 21-year-old since day one.

She explained in an interview later that it was because she had identified with Charlotte so much.

'Unexpectedly - even for me - I became very emotional when I announced that Charlotte would be leaving,' she told Living TV.

'I realised afterwards that it was because a lot of comments made about Charlotte - too commercial, too smiley, not fashion enough, too curvy - were the types of comments I heard early on in my career.

'When she didn’t make it through to the final three, it felt like a part of me was rejected.

'The upside is - look where I am today! I am sure Charlotte will succeed in any medium she chooses.'

Charlotte, who was nicknamed 'mini-Elle' early in the series, says the appreciation was mutual: 'She said throughout the competition that she could see a lot of herself in me.

'For her to be supporting me, that is really encouraging.'

Despite this, she admits she knew her time on the show was up, even though she had done well on that week's challenges.

'I had felt like I'd had a good week,' she told us. 'I felt like I really worked on the shoot, I was actually feeling quite confident - but when they called Joy's name second, I kind of knew...'

She is not the slightest bit resentful of the three finalists though: 'I didn't have any expectations - everyone was so different. I could only do my best.'

Charlotte accurately pinpointed the strengths and weaknesses of each of the remaining girls, saving her highest praise for Maltese blonde, Tiffany.

'They're all fantastic and all deserve to be there. Tiffany has been working so hard - she's embraced her new look, which was really difficult for her. She's the best all-rounder.

'Joy doesn't enjoy catwalk - if you don't enjoy something you're not going to try at it. Alisha's great at the edgy thing, but she's not so good commercially.'

Charlotte admitted that living with her rivals was not easy though: 'I tried to get along with everyone - we didn't get along all the time. Alisha was a little confrontational.

'It's a weird situation, because you're living with these people too - the competition gets so fierce.'

Nor was it a straightforward relationship with the judges, especially Julien Macdonald, who, several episodes back, told her that she was too curvy to be a catwalk model.

'It didn't come across well, but it didn't hurt at the time,' she said. 'I don't want to be an average catwalk model. I am what I am. But you're spending days and weeks without being with your family, so it's a hard situation to be in.'

She added that the fashion designer was hard to please: 'I found him difficult - he wasn't impressed ever.'

She had plenty of good things to say about straight-talking stylist Grace Woodward, and male model Charley Speed though.

'I love Grace. She's a fantastic stylist and added a really good dimension to the judging panel. And Charley's so laid back, he was like a big brother. It was good to have him there. He was a fan of mine - Julien definitely wasn't .'

Charlotte remains modest about the future, and unlike many of the girls who were eliminated before her, she does not appear to be pinning her hopes on modelling.

'I'm going to see what comes,' she said. 'I've got to pay the bills.'

But with many of the show's guest mentors spotting her star quality, and Elle anticipating her great success, we reckon Britain's Next Top Model is just the beginning...

Katie Holmes wears Jackie Kennedy's iconic pink outfit as she recreates the hours leading up to JFK assassination

It is one of the most iconic events in American history.

And in her role as Jackie Kennedy, Katie Holmes yesterday recreated the historical last hours of President John F. Kennedy before he was assassinated.

The actress, who is starring in a TV mini-series about the family, filmed scenes of the couple's arrival at Dallas airport.


Pretty in pink: Holmes wears the former first lady's two-piece suit and hat on the Toronto set


Holmes, 31, who has spent the past month filming in Toronto, wore a replica of Jackie's pink outfit, with a hat over the First Lady's signature bob.

Despite the Texas setting, she and actor Greg Kinnear, who plays the former President, recreated the scenes on the Toronto set of the film.

President Kennedy was shot and killed in Dallas, Texas on November 22nd 1963, while he and his wife were riding in a presidential motorcade.

Lee Harvey Oswald was implicated as being responsible for killing the President.

The eight-hour TV series is set to air on The History Channel next year and covers the rise of the family's political dynasty.

Holmes has revealed she is enjoying portraying America's former first lady.

'It's been really fun! Her clothes were magnificent,' she told Us Weekly last month.

'I feel so lucky. We have these wonderful seamstresses who are creating beautiful dresses that are obviously replicas of real things she wore. Armani made two dresses for me to wear.

'She not only had great style, but she was an artist and a writer,' Holmes added. 'She was an illustrator. She was an editor.

'Her great style was both appropriate for every event that she went to and also classic, and also things that were wearable. I feel really lucky to be playing her.'

However, the series, produced by 24 creator Joel Surnow, has already been the subject of some controversy.

Some critics who have seen the scripts, have said that the series puts too much emphasis on the sexual antics of the famous dynasty rather than tell the family's political story of the rise to power.

The Kennedys' producers, however, have pointed out that the script has been ‘annotated and vetted by History's resident historians.’

Jackie Kennedy was widely considered one of the most stylish women in the world.

She was mother of two children - John Kennedy Jr who died age 39 in a plane crash in 1999 and Caroline, now 52.

Following her husband's death, she became a book editor and married Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis.
She died of cancer in 1994.

The big news in lingerie: Large knickers make comeback as Mad Men style leads the way

Trend: Christina Hendricks' figure-hugging frocks have sparked a demand for control pants


It is final vindication for the Bridget Jones attitude to underwear.

Big pants are making a fashion come back as women discard their thongs in favour of larger knickers.

The trend for high waist briefs is being credited to a revival in Fifties and Sixties waist-cinching styles, made famous by curvy actress Christina Hendricks on US TV drama Mad Men, which has helped big pants shake off their Bridget Jones image.

Up to twice the size of normal knickers, waist-nippers flatter the hourglass figure by trimming in a woman's stomach and pushing out the hips and breasts.


Lingerie retailers say a surge in demand for larger styles is also due to the patronage of stars, such as Lily Allen and Lady Gaga, who have sparked an 'underwear-as- outerwear' trend.

Sales of the G-string have been falling dramatically over the past four years - ever since the thong became associated with football WAGs and chav culture.

Unflattering pictures of celebrities - such as Melanie Blatt, a singer with girl group All Saints - flashing their G-strings as they fell out of taxis and nightclubs, fuelled a backlash against the tiny string briefs.

TV presenter Trinny Woodall described women who wore thongs showing above their trousers as 'disgusting' and supermodel Elle Macpherson, who has her own underwear range, also described them as 'uncomfortable,' adding: 'Girls want real knickers now.'

According to a recent survey sales of big pants have soared dramatically in 2010 - up 42 per cent in just three months.

Like the thong, they have the benefit of wiping out the dreaded VPL (visible panty line) under clothes.

But fans argue they have the added advantage of being more comfortable, as well as hugging and holding the derriere, providing far more support.

Rigby & Peller, which made the big briefs worn by Renée Zellweger as Bridget Jones, has recorded a 15 per cent swing from thongs to larger styles this year.

Online retailer Figleaves says sales of such items are up 28 per cent in the past 12 months. Both outlets are now selling about two pairs of fuller briefs or shorts for every G-string.

Some labels, such as Lepel, stocked in House of Fraser, and Charnos, have even decided to axe thongs altogether from several of their ranges.

Nicky Clayton, creative director of Rigby & Peller, said: "This season big is definitely beautiful. They are sexy as well as comfortable.

'There is now more detailing: lace, ruffles and accessories that accentuate rather than just cover up what can be a lady's best asset. It's been championed by the underwear-as-outerwear look.

'Women want glamour as well as comfort now and G-strings are definitely being squeezed out by this trend.'

A spokeswoman for Marks & Spencer, which sells more than a quarter of Britain's pants and bras, added: 'We have seen a big shift away from the skimpier shapes. Gone are the days of the off-white Bridget-Jones-style knickers.'

She readily admits she's not the best singer in the world - but Katie Price still seems to think she would make a good X Factor judge.

The 32-year-old model, who is promoting her new single this week, says she'd love to fill in for Cheryl Cole on the hit show while she's recovering from malaria.

Laying out her credentials for the role, the mother of three admitted many might be shocked if she was appointed, but told Metro: 'I've got ears and can still hear things and can see looks,' adding: 'Simon knows where I am.'

Katie was on the promotional trail again today plugging her track Free To Love Again.

The dance song is currently languishing at number 51 in the iTunes chart so she has a bit more work to do if she wants to emulate her ex-husband Peter Andre, who scored a series of top 10 hits with some of his latest releases.

Speaking about X Factor, Katie added: 'I think everyone wants to be a judge on that show.

'My job is about looks and what other people look like - I have a fair opinion.'

'Dannii will be back for the judges houses section of the show next month, and hopefully Cheryl will be better by then too.

'But there is currently no decision on bringing in guest judges for boot camp later this month.'

Katie was pictured leaving the Radio 1 studios today wearing a patterned dress and red wedge heels following an interview with Newsbeat.

She said her stylist Gary Cockerill described her as looking like Pocahontas with her newly-fitted long hair extensions.

The model still looked puffy faced, as she did on Sky News yesterday, suggesting she has had yet another Botox and collagen top-up.

In the interview with Radio 1 today she admitted that her song is unlikely to do well in the charts, saying radio stations won't play it because 'it's not credible'.

She dismissed speculation the song was about Andre as 'boring' insisting it wasn't and saying the lyrics don't mean anything to her.

However she is looking forward to performing the song in front of an audience, with a show scheduled for London's G-A-Y later this month.

First X Factor audition judges line-up unveiled - as Cheryl Cole opts for the jungle look

Fresh from her Woman Of The Year win at the Glamour Awards in London last night, Cheryl Cole dashed up to Glasgow this morning to kick off the first round of X Factor auditions.

And it wasn't just her outfit that was new, as the new judges line-up - albeit temporary was unveiled in Glasgow.

Joining established judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Cheryl was former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell - who is stepping in for popular judge Dannii Minogue while she prepares to give birth to her first child.

Hoping to make a stylish impression on first day of the seventh series, Cole teamed her loud dress with a £1,035 pair of Christian Louboutin lizard and python platform sandals.

While the 26-year-old arrived in Scotland today, judges Cowell, Walsh and Halliwell spent the night in the prestigious five star Hotel Du Vin.

Former Spice Girl Halliwell, 37, looked dressed down as she checked into the hotel wearing a pair of distressed jeans, baggy jumper and old boots.

Halliwell is stepping in for Minogue, 38, for the auditions because the Australian singer is Down Under expecting to give birth to her first child next month, before returning to the show in September.

The appointment of Halliwell as Minogue's maternity cover comes after months of speculation over who would be her temporary replacement

Ironically, Halliwell was partially responsible for Cole's fame after she was on the judging panel for X Factor predecessor Popstars: The Rivals in 2002.

In 2008, she said: ''I'm so proud of Cheryl Cole. I really fought hard to put her through. I love that I opened that little window of opportunity for her and now she’s run with it.'

However, Cole hasn't been so complimentary in response. During her first year as an X Factor judge, she complained too many contestants were telling her they wanted to be as successful at the Spice Girls.

She moaned: 'We've been around for six years - they were around for 18 months.

'We recognise what the Spice Girls did, but it really annoys me when you meet girls who go: "We wannabe the next Spice Girls."

After being beaten by Minogue last year, it looks like Cole will be pulling out all the stops this time round with the help of her two stylists Victoria Adcock and Frank Strachan.

X Factor auditions will take place in Dublin on June 28 - although it is unknown if Irish viewers will be able to vote for any homegrown talent on the show.

Last year, Walsh repeatedly told Jedward 'everyone in Ireland is rooting for you', only for TV bosses to reveal Irish audiences were unable to vote in the British show.

The next auditions take place in Birmingham on Sunday and Monday, London from 21-24 June, Cardiff on 2 July and Manchester from 9-11 July.

The live shows will begin in October, when Minogue will have returned from Australia to take her place on the judging panel

Larger than life Lost star Jorge Garcia brings his pint-sized girlfriend along to cast party

Jorge Garcia towered over his girlfriend at a special night held in honour of the popular, and mystifying, U.S. TV show Lost last night.

The actor, 37, plays Hurley in the show, which draws to a close in just two week's time.

Garcia stands at 6ft tall, while his partner Bethany Leigh Shady appears to be almost a foot shorter than him in heels.

Miss Shady also starred in Lost, as a survivor of flight 316, although her main profession is a novelist.

The special event entitled Lost Live: The Final Celebration, was held to mark the finale of the programme and to raise money for the Colburn School of Performing Arts.

Many of the stars of the show, and those who work behind the scenes, were in attendance at the Royce Hall at the University of California in Los Angeles

The special evening consisted of two main events, kicking off with a concert put on by the composer of Lost's soundtracks, Michael Giacchino.

Giacchino, who won an Oscar this year for the movie Up, has written every note of music that has been played during Lost's six seasons.

He was accompanied by a 47-member orchestra which included musicians from the official Lost orchestra and students of the Colburn Conservatory in Los Angeles.

A fan who was at the event took to his blog to describe the musical performance.

He said: 'Giacchino then took the stage along with his orchestra and it was pure magic. The music of Lost is both instantly recognizable and independently moving


More stars: Ian Somerhalder (Boone Carlyle) and Nestor Carbonell (Richard Alpert) helped to make up the 20-strong list of cast members


A treat for fans: Malcolm David Kelley (Walt Lloyd) and Lance Reddick (Matthew Abaddon) were among the many cast members at the showcase


'Whether you’ve watched every episode or not one single frame, Giacchino’s melodies are emotional and effective. The play list was the Lost Main Theme, Hollywood and Vines, Oceanic 6, The Temple of Doom, Life and Death, The Tangled Web and then Parting Words.'

After the concert lucky fans were treated to a preview screening of the penultimate episode of the series, which doesn't air until next Tuesday.

Audience members also saw some of their favourite actors from the show including Josh Holloway, Jorge Garcia, Sonya Walger, Henry Ian Cusick and Michael Emerson, along with executive producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof.

Although Matthew Fox, Terry O’Quinn and Evangeline Lilly were noticeably absent from proceedings.

He revealed some of the episode's highlights, so fans who want to remain in the dark may want to stop reading now.

He continued: 'Does it redeem the digression of Across the Sea? No. But it does help contextualize it somewhat.

'We're still not certain about the placement of the episode so close to the finale- or whether the story of Jacob and his unnamed brother needed an entire hour to begin with- but we came out of Died For feeling a little better about what preceded it.'

Michael Emersen, who plays Ben in the show, revealed his thoughts on the show finale when speaking to the New York Post this week.

He said: 'When I first read it, the ending wasn't clear to me. But since then, it's grown more clear and, I have to say, grown more satisfying the more I think about it.

'I expect a mixture of satisfaction and consternation among the viewers when it airs. But once they rewatch it, rethink about it and possibly look at the saga again, gradually they will feel like they have just read a good novel - but you have to chew on it for a while.'

Anticipation of the final episode is reaching fever pitch, with producers filming a two-and-a-half-hour long show to bring the series to its close.

Lost's season finale airs in the UK on May 28 on Sky One.

The 25-year-old star was pictured leaving her local Los Angeles gym yesterday with her iPod and water bottle.

Hours later she was transformed for an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show

Scarlett jumped out of her skin and screamed as she was pranked by a man in a giant bumblebee costume on the programme.

The star was on the show to talk about her role as Black Widow in Iron Man 2 when the costumed prankster snuck up on her.

Just as she began talking about hubby Ryan Reynolds, the giant bumblebee walked up behind Johansson and buzzed loudly in her ear causing her to jump and scream 'You can't do that on television,' the startled actress said.

'I'm terrified. I've just clammed up now - I don't know what else is going to come at me.'

Ellen then joked: 'That's fine, we're done. It was a decoy to get the bee out here, you're free.'

The Voice of an Angel sings again: Charlotte Church performs for the first time in four years on Over The Rainbow

Back where she belongs: Charlotte Church showed off her new slimline figure in a pair of black trousers and a spiky vest as she performed on Over The Rainbow


It has been more than a decade since she first wowed an audience with her stunning voice.

The sound may be more sultry than angelic these days but Charlotte Church proved she still has star quality tonight.

The Welsh diva picked up the microphone to perform live for the first time in four years and received a standing ovation.

She joined the remaining contestants on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s talent show Over The Rainbow to sing Donna Summer’s No More Tears (Enough is Enough).

Church is a judge on the BBC show, which aims to find an undiscovered female talent for the role of Dorothy in an upcoming West End production of The Wizard of Oz.

Church appeared centre stage, dressed in skinny black trousers and a black vest top adorned with punk-style spikes. Her eye make-up was heavy and dark and her hair a crafted mess on top.

The remaining contestants then joined her from a staircase to the right of the stage and they danced in a coordinated routine.

The sultry performance was met by a standing ovation from the studio audience. Graham Norton, who presents the show, said: ‘They are loving it!’

Church is hoping the performance will help reignite her faltering music career.

The singer parted ways with her record company Sony in November 2006 before falling pregnant with her first child Ruby Megan, who was born in September 2007.

She then became pregnant again with son Dexter who was born in January 2009, her second child with long-term boyfriend, rugby player Gavin Henson.

Now, as well as judging Over The Rainbow, she is back in the recording studio for the first time since she made her 2005 album Tissues and Issues, which spawned four top twenty singles including Crazy Chick.

Church has started writing and recording her sixth album, which is due out at the end of the year. She said it will have a different sound to her previous offerings, with a mature but 'kooky' vibe.

She has also been showing off a new slimline figure, after years battling with her weight.

The comeback is timed to coincide with boyfriend Henson’s return to rugby this summer, after an 18 month sabbatical.

Last night, viewers saw Church train the Dorothy wannabes for the performance and said she was looking for ‘tone, pitch and whether they can hit the note bang on.’

‘I’m just in awe of her:’ said one of the potential Dorothys.

Church said to another: ‘You look a bit scared.’

Viewers also witnessed Lord Lloyd Webber attempt to find a Toto for the Wizard of Oz.
He selected a final line-up of five dogs after ten hopefuls - and their owners - visited his mansion in Hampshire.

Lord Lloyd Webber said: 'I somehow could never quite imagine myself being in this position - choosing a dog for one of my shows - but I've rather enjoyed the process.

'It hasn't been an easy decision for me, selecting the final five, but I was particularly drawn to the dogs I have chosen.

'Each of them could be a Toto in their own way. However, as adorable as they are, I remain a confirmed cat man.'

The dogs were selected after the BBC held open auditions earlier this month. More than 1,000 pets took part.

One dog will be chosen to perform at a one-off West End charity gala performance of the show.
