Type A Films

Run down:
Reese Witherspoon founded this company and despite one major flop (Legally Blonde 2) critics have responded well to the produce coming out of Type A. Generally the films released by the company are light and comedic with sexual undertones and plenty of one-liners. All of the productions so far feature Witherspoon in a starring or cameo with either a writing or production credit. Taking a step away from their family friendly image news emerged in May this year that Type A Films were working on a script about the 1997 murder of Reena Virk, a 14-year-old who was murdered by schoolmates.

Legally Blonde 2: Red, White and Blonde (2004)

Penelope (2007) – starring Christina Ricci, James McAvoy and Reese Witherspoon taking a brilliant turn as a slutty biker chick. An odd but sweet tale of a young heiress born with a pig snot thanks to a family curse. The only way to break the spell is a kiss from her true love. Surprisingly this film has some dark aspects which make up for the sickeningly romantic moments.

Up and coming films:

Four Christmases – starring Reese and Vince Vaughn this flick will be out just in time for Christmas this year. A comedy about a couple struggling to visit all four of their divorced parents on Christmas Day.
