Arizona Muse works it out in Slow mo' for YSL

There is something about a video ad campaign that always finds a wayto captivate me. Regular ad campaigns are nice and can get super creative but its really hard to see all aspects of a garment and how it moves by just looking at a picture. These video campaigns are creative and innovative and helps the consumer get a real feel of the pieces plus it also just looks good. Here is a video ad campaign for YSL's S/S 2011 collection, featuring Arizona Muse She looks stunning and she is definitely a face to watch this season. Janelle Monae's "Mushrooms and Roses" fits perfectly with the mood of the video and definitely conveys that hypnotic vibe that I get from the ad, enjoy!

Prada's New Blossoming Spring Campaign

Fashion is all about moving forward and finding innovate and imaginative ways to express oneself through the art of clothes and accessories. For Prada the next step for their spring and summer 2011 collection is a major one. Not only will they have major print ads in every magazine possible, the fashion house has also decided to go digital with a video campaign.

It stars models Kinga Rajzak, Arizona Muse, Mariacarla Boscono, Zuzanna Bijoch, and Tati Cotliar. The stunning ladies are caught on tape drapped in bright furs scarves, stripes, sunglasses, shoes and bags. Très fancy.

The photography for the print ads were shot by Steven Meisel. You can check out both the print ads and video for Prada and let us know which form of advertising you think will be more effective for the fashion house.

Either way I love the ads. They both are fun, exciting and get me so excited for the warmer months. My fave so far, the fun prints for shoes! I wonder if all the other major high end brands will follow suit?
