Danniella Westbrook's Dancing on Ice partner moves in with her and her husband

They spend hours together, day after day, perfecting their arduous ice skating routines so it's no surprise when the Dancing on Ice contestants form a tight bond with their partners.

But EastEnders star Danniella Westbrook has taken her friendship with partner Matthew Gonzalez to another level - he has moved in to the home she shares with her husband and two children.

Danniella, 36, laughed off speculation over her close friendship with Gonzalez, saying it made sense for the American ice skater to live with her and her family during the show.

'All the reports that my husband is jealous of me and Matt are hilarious. He’s actually living with us! It made sense, so we could train every day and commute to the ice rink together,' she told Closer magazine.

Danniella – who rents a six-bed home in Essex – says Matt, 25, had become part of the family, eating meals with the couple and their children Kai, 13, and Jodie, eight.

'Kevin and Matt get on so well. It was his decision for Matt to move in. He’s part of our family now.'

Their friendship is obviously helping their performance on the ice - despite injuring her ribs after a fall in rehearsals the pair won a score of 18.0 after being told their lifts were 'gorgeous'.

The pair's bond was obvious as they began rehearsals, as they were spotted having a snowball fight during a break.
