Kim's "Bazaar" Transformation

For the March issue of Harper's Bazaar reality star, Kim Kardashian is just more than the cover girl. Inside the publication, she also plays journalist and actually interviews Elizabeth Taylor. Kimmy K also has a spread where she is pays homage to one of Taylor's most iconic movie roles and is dressed up as Cleopatra. The spread is actually called Kleopatra and was photographed by Terry Richardson.

Wonder how well Kim's interviewing skills went with Miss Taylor? The two spoke of how Kim admires Liz, twitter, love and a lot more. Kim asked Liz for some love advice, and Liz told her, "follow your passion, follow your heart, and the things you need will come." Solid adivce from a woman who has had six husbands!

Overally the spread looks fab. Kim is gorg and I love the nostalgic feel of the photos. The hair and makeup is perfect to a "t" and I love the way they took a modern spin on the classic Cleopatra look. I wonder if Kim will steal some of these style tips and transform it into her own style. The Kardashian Kraze continues!!! I wonder if a Vogue cover is in the near future.

News -- Has this Balmain Dress Broken a Record?

Which dress is taking the magazine world by storm and stirring up a little contoversy as well? Its none other than the sparkly gold Balmain number that was featured in the F/W 2010 collection. Seems like Anja Rubik must have really worked that dress on the runway because editors from 7 Magazines pegged the dress to be on their cover. The dress costs $31,000 for the shorter version and $34,000 for the longer version according to the Daily Mail. I guess the good thing about the dress is thaqt it doesn't look the same in every picture, you have to kind of examine it to realize that the dresses are the same. Below are the covers and also the runway look so in your opinion who rocked it best?

Katy Perry the Cover Girl

Mirror, mirror on the wall, is that really Katy Perry on the cover of Harper's Bazaar?

Popstar and newlywed, Katy Perry graces the cover of the December 2010 edition of Harper's Bazaar. And to tell you the truth, I don't know what to think of the cover. Don't get me wrong, Katy is a very pretty girl, her cooky style is one-of-a-kind and I think she is beautiful. But, I think I'm just use to see seeing the California girl decked out with coloured wigs and cupcake covered bras. At first glance seeing the cover, I'm totally sold on the clean look.

For the cover, the 26-year-old singer looks oh-so natural and simply gorgeous with her dark brown hair, sparkling light eyes and very natural makeup. She looks good in her silver dress and matching background. And after a long stare and peeping the spread, I am totally on board for the refreshing Katy Perry look.

Inside the publication, her spread is very toned down from her everyday style. She's in very sophisticated and classic looks like lovely flowy gowns, power suits and skirts. The spread was shot by Alexi Lubomirski. And I love it.

The look is different for Perry, but refreshing because it shows her versatility in the fashion game. She looks more mature and who doesn't like versatility in fashion. That's what it's all about. The transformation just demonstrates that you don't always need to dress out of the box to look stunning.

In the mag, Katy talks about her marriage to Russell Brand, her competition in the music industry and music. She also talks about her personal image and says, “I’m kind of a good girl—and I’m not. I’m a good girl because I really believe in love, integrity, and respect. I’m a bad girl because I like to tease. I know that I have sex appeal in my deck of cards. But I like to get people thinking. That’s what the stories in my music do.”
