Staying cool: Helen Flanagan wears a tiny dress in soaring temperatures as she stops off at a service station on the M6
With temperatures soaring across the country it's little wonder that Helen Flanagan opted to keep her clothing to minimum.
The Coronation Street actress, 20, kept cool in a very short grey dress with giraffe motif on the front as she stopped off at a service station on the M6.
Helen accessorised the dress with a pair of sparkling sandals, a large pair of sunglasses and her favourite black, padded Chanel handbag.
She also picked up a large bottle of water, essential during the current heatwave that has swept the nation.
In fact, the Manchester-based soap star would've been enjoying some of the highest temperatures in the country with the north-west town hitting highs of 27.7C.
Helen will be in a buoyant mood as it was reported she recently renewed her contract with Coronation Street for a further 12 months.
The actress, who plays temptress Rosie Webster in the ITV soap, is said to be 'dead excited' about the prospect of continuing in the programme for another year.
She recently credited Kim Kardashian with helping to boost her body confidence.
Miss Flanagan says she believes the U.S. socialite has shown the world that having a large rear is not a bad thing .She said: 'Kim's so sexy.
Before discovering her, I didn't want my bum to look big, but now I'm all for wearing heels with tight jeans to show off mine.
Chilled: The Coronation Street actress bought a cold bottle of water
'She's a positive role model for girls because she's so curvaceous.'
But Helen, who is dating Wigan Athletic striker Scott Sinclair, admitted she hasn't always been so comfortable with her figure.
She told Fabulous magazine: 'I can definitely say I had food issues.
'I was always dieting... I don't know many girls who haven't had food issues in some shape or form and it's really sad.'
