Nicola Roberts is 'too busy' to support Cheryl Cole at Cannes

'Too busy': Nicola Roberts said she couldn't find the time to see best friend Cheryl Cole performing at the De Grisogono party in Cannes


There appears to have been a falling-out between Cheryl Cole and her Girls Aloud bandmates.

Nicola Roberts, who is meant to be Cheryl’s best friend, tells me she was too busy to support her pal in Cannes.

It comes after Sarah Harding snubbed the chance to see Cheryl’s performance at the De Grisogono party.

Nicola said: ‘I have been in the studio writing new material and didn’t have time to go to the South of France.

'I’m also very tied up with my make-up line at the moment.’
Fortunately, Cheryl had her close friend Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am to keep her company.
