Veteran Telugu director-producer-actor-politician Dasari Narayana Rao will release the biography of legendary actress Mahanati Savitri, one of the best actresses of all time, during his 63th birthday celebrations to be held at Ravindra Bharati, Hyderabad on May 4.
Penned by Vadrevu Murthy garu, professor at Syracuse University, New York, after interviewing many people from Savitri's family and people from film industry, the book can be bought from www.uhpublisher.com after May 4.
During the grand celebration organized by Vamsi International, Dasari Narayana Rao will present Dasari Awards 2009 to the winners: Radhakrishna (Krish), Srikanth Addala and B.A. Raju. The awards, comprising one lakh in cash and a citation, were recently announced in Hyderabad.
Dasari will also launch a charitable organization 'Needa' during the same occasion, The function will be attended by many eminent personalities including D.V.S. Raju, C. Narayana Reddy, Jayasudha, M.S. Reddy, D. Rama Naidu, Tammareddy Krishnamurthy, K. Raghavendra Rao, Mohan Babu, Murali Mohan, Tammareddy Bharadwaja and Relangi Narasimha Rao.
