Blogged a long time ago: Ze Art Of Selling
The other day, Business Times carried the following article: Why selling is a common problem
I would like to highlight just one point. Yes, only just one point.
- You will only consider selling the company if the growth of the company's intrinsic value falls below "satisfactory" level or you find out that a mistake was made in the original analysis as you grow more familiar to the business or industry.
I like to focus on the OR part.
- or you find out that a mistake was made in the original analysis as you grow more familiar to the business or industry.
Why?
Because most do not want to acknowledge that they had made the mistake.
Think about it.
No mistake no sell, yes?
Carry on holding, yes?
If the mistake is never acknowledged, then the investor would never have to sell yes?
