There's no place like Holmes

Just quickly y'all, here is the latest still from Guy Ritchie's big screen adaptation of Sherlock Holmes: Okay, so it's not the most exciting photo but it's a photo none the less. I'm positively pumped about this and although there may have been a bit of scepticism about Ritchie's capabilities as director, his latest effort Rocknrolla has restored every ounce of faith I have in the man. Everyone's favourite come back king Robert Downey Jr stars as Sherlock himself and the talented Jude Law is his stalwart partner Watson. They've also thrown the impressive Rachel McAdams in there as the love interest/sidekick. Details of the plot are being kept tightly under wraps at this stage but stay posted for more updates.
Sherlock Holmes will be released in Australia on Boxing Day this year. Such a long wait but sooo worth it.

FYI during one of the fight scenes in the movie a stunt double knocked Downey Jr out. Hot damn! Talk about sacrifices for your art.
