One-derful

Basically this is the Life Of Brian for the ipod generation. The very clever and very funny Harold Ramis has put together a comedy set in biblical times called Year One and starring Jack Black, Michael Cera, Paul Rudd, Olivia Platt and David Cross. Sound like a recipe for a disaster of biblical proportions? That’s what I though too until I watched this brilliant 2 minute scene from the movie.
Watch clip. Although this is just a snippet and things could go terribly wrong from here on in, I feel stupid for ever doubting Ramis’ ability to make with the funny. After all, he did write and direct Groundhog Day, Analyze This, Ghostbusters and Bedazzled. I particularly love the fight scene between Kane (David Cross) and Abel (Paul Rudd), it’s hilarious and definitely the way the bible intended to write it.Year One is due out in Australia on June 18.
