Blink 18-Yeeeeeeew!

WARNING: The following post has nothing to do with movies. Stand by while I attempt to make a very loose connection to something movie related.

This may be the best news I have heard ever. Yes, even better than the Veronica Mars movie being confirmed or Joss Whedon committing to a ninth series of Buffy The Vampire Slayer graphic novels.
Blink 182 are getting back together!

After presenting an award at the Grammy's tonight, rumours have been circling faster than a pack of wolves around a giant hotdog. Despite taking an "indefinite hiatus" several years ago, a member of Tom DeLonge's band Angels & Airwaves seems to have confirmed Blink are back in business and working on a new album. On social-networking site Modlife, A&A guitarist David Kennedy said "I'm trying to write a statement about how Angels is all good while Blink is coming back."

Okay, it's not gospel.

But Blink fans have had little to no news about the lads getting back together in the last few years so fark, I'll take anything I can get! I hope, hope, hope they not only get back together but come to Oz on a tour as well (Brisbane pleeease). However, given Travis just survived a gnarly plane crash that killed some of his closest colleagues, I'll be content if the dudes take it slow and just pump out a new album. Or two.

Now, about that loose connection to something movie-related . . .did you know Blink 182's music has featured in many major motion pictures? Yes, I'm clutching at straws but boy is my grip impeccable. They are:

And that is all I could find. Atrocious.
