Kristen Stewart is ready to compete with fellow actors at 2010 BAFTA Film Awards. The "Twilight" beauty is nominated for Rising Star award, as it has been announced by British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) on Tuesday, January 12.

The actress will be up against Carey Mulligan, who stars in Golden Globe-nominated film "An Education". Stewart previously won Best Female Performance prize at 2009 MTV Movie Awards for her role as Bella Swan in the vampire drama flick, while Mulligan has nabbed Best Actress in several award events through her performance in the Lone Scherfig-directed drama.

Also among the short list for the upcoming BAFTA Rising Star award is "Zombieland" actor Jesse Eisenberg, who co-stars Stewart in "Adventureland". Meanwhile, the remaining places belong to Nicholas Hoult, who is well known for his role in "A Single Man", and Tahar Rahim, who has appeared in French film "A Prophet".

The award "recognizes five international actors and actresses who have demonstrated exceptional talent and have begun to capture the imagination of the public as a star in the making." The winner will be decided by a public vote, both by text and online, and the result will be announced at a gala for 2010 BAFTA Film Awards on February 21.
