Back to normal: As the John Terry scandal dies down, Vanessa Perroncel hits the town with friends for dinner in Knightsbridge and a trip to the Embassy nightclub

She became a social pariah after her alleged affair with ex England captain John Terry was exposed, but now Vanessa Perroncel is hitting back.

The ex-girlfriend of Wayne Bridge and mother of his child has claimed she was made out to be a prostitute after the news broke about the alleged relationship.

She also denied she was never going to sell her story, simply hiring Max Clifford to try to control the media frenzy surrounding her during one of the year's most-reported celebrity scandals.

'I never asked him to sell my story,' she said of PR tot he stars Max Clifford.
'I never wanted to sell my story. Max said: "People are offering money - £200,000, £250,000," I don't want it.'

The ex WAG spoke out to set the record straight after months of speculation about the alleged affair which saw John Terry stripped of his captaincy and Wayne Bridge confirm he would not play with the Chelsea star during England's bid for the World Cup.

The French-born model said she was made out to be some kind of prostitute as rumours circulated about her 'hunting' for celebrity boyfriends and allegedly having an abortion paid for by Terry.

As her life returns to normal, Miss Perroncel was spotted out on the town last night with friends, dining at Japanese Nozomi Restaurant in Knightsbridge before heading to celebrity hotspot the Embassy nightclub.

There was a slight hiccup when she tripped over a traffic cone in her sky-high heels, but she made it to the club, dignity in tact.

The 33-year-old recently celebrated her birthday which came a day after she successfully fought Wayne Bridge in court over maintenance fees for their son Jaydon.

Bridge had taken his wife to court in the hope of reducing his payments after it was alleged she was paid up to £800,000 by John Terry to keep quiet over their reported affair.

But Miss Perroncel's lawyers presented all her bank statements to the district judge to prove she had not received any payment.

Despite the apparent evidence, Bridge would not offer more than £3,000 a month for Jaydon, but Miss Perroncel eventually won the case securing between £6,000 and £7,000 a month for the three-year-old.

Speaking after the settlement was made, spokesman Max Clifford explained: 'All she ever wanted was a reasonable and fair settlement and for Wayne to stay in touch for the benefit of Jaydon.

'She is a private person, she doesn't like a lot of what has been written, she just wants the deal to be private and amicable
