Easter treat: Joe and Carly Cole share an Easter bunny as they push baby Ruby in London today
With a newborn baby at home, normal state of play is impossible.
So perhaps that explains why Joe and Carly Cole only managed to get around to eating their Easter chocolate today - nearly a month late.
The new parents tucked into a Lindt chocolate bunny as they pushed their daughter in her pram.
Ruby Tatiana, who was born on March 18 at London's private Portland hospital, and weighed 6lb 3oz, is the couple's first child.
Title-chasing Chelsea star Joe, 28, and Carly have spent the past few weeks getting to know their daughter, who has already visited Stamford Bridge to meet her father's teammates.
Today the couple, who were married in London last July, walked through Chelsea before taking advantage of the sunshine by eating at an outdoor table.

And despite only giving birth a month ago, Carly, 25, looked in terrific shape in tailored trousers, T-shirt and a fitted jacket.
In an interview with Hello! magazine earlier this month Carly said Joe was a fantastic father.
'He's more of a worrier than me and I think he'll be protective,' she said.
And she says that with her black hair and blue eyes Ruby is 'definitely going to be a daddy's girl'.
'She is absolutely a mini-Joe,' she said. 'He's already talking about what sports he wants to play - he wants her to learn to play tennis.'
