New look: Tina O'Brien works the monochrome look in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer


The end of a relationship is often a time of reinvention.

And in a monochrome outfit of hotpants and top, with lashings of red lipstick, it seems Tina O'Brien is going for a vampish new look.

After the end of her six-year relationship with Coronation Street co-star Ryan Thomas, Tina is also moving on in her career.

The 26-year-old had been planning to return to the cobbles following a career break after the birth of 18-month-old Scarlett.

But the split forced her to change her plans - leading to a part in Waterloo Road.

She has already started filming, and will appear on screens this year.

Tina and the 25-year-old ended their six-year relationship in November, reportedly after a series of heated rows.The pair met when they played on-screen lovers, hairdresser Sarah-Louise Platt and builder Jason Grimshaw.


They now share custody of their daughter and are said to have vowed to remain friends for her sake.

Following the break-up Tina was linked to Manchester DJ Mike Toolan, 36, although her spokesman insisted they were just friends.

The clothes she wore on the Closer photo shoot are all part of a high street fashion collection in aid of Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.
