Elizabeth Hurley shows off her youthful figure as she helps raise $4m at charity gala

Her 45th birthday may be fast approaching, but Elizabeth Hurley has no intention of letting herself go.

In a hot pink gown, slashed to show her leg, the model showed off the age-defying beauty which has seen her remain as the face of Estee Lauder for 15 years.

She was hosting a charity fundraiser for the brand last night, raising more than $4million for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Sir Elton John, godfather to Elizabeth's son Damian, also performed at the charity's annual Hot Pink Party in New York.

The cause is close to Elizabeth's heart, as her grandmother died of breast cancer.

Elizabeth, who lives with husband Arun Nayar and son on an organic farm in Barnsley, Gloucestershire, flew out to New York for the event.

Earlier she tweeted: 'In New York trying on a zillion pink dresses for the big Breast Cancer fundraiser I'm hosting tonight.'

And it seemed the evening went well, as she later added: 'Just back from gala - we raised $4 million for Breast Cancer.

'Elton was fabulous. Have brought a huge pink cupcake home to devour...'

In her role at Estee Lauder, Elizabeth has designed her own lip colours. But it seems she isn't keen on everyone wearing make-up.

After watching the first Leader's Debate she tweeted: 'Note to Clegg and Cameron: refuse to wear so much make up for the next debate.

'Heavy one tone pancake base looks like a mask. Just say NO!'
But she may have an ulterior reason for her advice - she once labelled David Cameron 'super-sexy'.
