Bedhead: Dressed-down Stacey Solomon leaves her Dagenham home looking like she's just rolled out bed with her messy hair

During her months on The X Factor, Stacey Solomon looked chic and stylish as she sang her heart out in a variety of designer outfits.

But just a month after she ended up in third place, it looks like Solomon has ditched the glamour for the natural look.

The fresh-faced 20-year-old looked like she had just rolled out of bed with her messy hair and tracksuit as she left her Dagenham home on Tuesday.

Heading off to a local tanning salon to boost her faux golden glow, the single mother looked down-to-earth as she wore a purple tracksuit with her curly hair scrapped back into a messy ponytail.

And of course Stacey was wearing her beloved Ugg boots, in which she was regularly photographed outside the X Factor house in north London during the series.

But later that night, Stacey couldn't have looked better as she arrived looking pretty and polished at a screening of the new Disney Skyrunners movie in London's May Fair Hotel.

Wearing wet-look skinny 'treggings' and a tailored jacket, a bronzed Stacey looked groomed as she posed on the red carpet.

Since landing in third place on the show last month, Stacey has been busy performing in gigs across the country.

She is hoping to land a record contract, but has sensibly thought of a back-up option if her pop dreams fail to materialise

She said: 'I don't know why people are interested in me - I mean, it's not as if I won, is it?

'I want to be a successful singer, and if I work hard, with luck maybe someone will offer me a recording contract, or the chance to do some singing.

'If, God forbid, nothing comes out of this then I will just have to go back to college to learn how to teach people to sing. Then at least singing will still be my job.'

During her time on the show, she famously declared 'there's always Asda' if she didn't win.

When she was first evicted, the Essex blonde admitted she was worried the public may forget her.

She explained: 'In a year, I'd like to be singing somewhere like the V Festival. But I'm worried I'll get forgotten. You start thinking, "I haven't won - what's going to happen?"

'But if you work hard and want something bad enough you can do well. Good people get good things.'
