Cheryl Cole hides tiny frame under baggy clothes - but her bare midriff gives her away

Having been criticised for her ever-shrinking figure, it's little wonder Cheryl Cole has taken to wearing less clingy clothes.

The singer kept her revealing and tight clothes packed firmly inside her suitcase as she arrived in Holland today dressed in low-slung baggy jeans, heavy biker boots and a big red and white striped jumper.

However, if she was hoping to distract the cameras away from her petite frame, maybe she should have kept her enviably flat midriff covered up too.

Cheryl, 27, arrived in the Netherlands to appear on the Dutch version of The X Factor, on yet another stop on her whirlwind European tour.

Clutching her phone on one hand, she held her hair away from her face as she made her way to a waiting car.

She had jetted in from Norway, where she appeared on TV in Oslo on Thursday night where she became the talk of the local press after she unwittingly flashed her barbed wire tattoo at the top of her right thigh.

After appearing on the Skavlan, the Girls Aloud star headed out for dinner at the Ekeberg Restaurant, situated high in the Norwegian hills.

But the chilly temperatures saw her wrap up in large cardigan, using the sleeves to cover up her hands.

Perhaps the singer was attempting to detract attention from her wedding ring finger, which has been the subject of much debate since she announced her separation from husband Ashley Cole in February.

She has steadfastly refused to wear her wedding ring, but has claimed there is no message for Ashley in her choice of replacement.

But as Cheryl stepped out with an oversized skull in the space once occupied by her wedding band earlier in the week in Paris, it was hard to imagine the act was without meaning.

Cheryl is currently on a whistlestop tour of Europe promoting her solo material while Girls Aloud are on a break.
