A dishevelled Lindsay Lohan leads the way as Hollywood's party girls hit the town for Nylon Magazine's 11th anniversary

Hollywood's party girls were out in force last night to attend Nylon Magazine's 11th anniversary celebration.

And Tinseltown's most notorious socialites were on the guestlist for the party which, unsurprisingly, was held at new celeb hangout Trousdale in West Hollywood.

Lindsay Lohan, Mischa Barton and Paris Hilton joined in the festivities for the U.S. style magazine.

Lohan, 23, managed to make her fellow party girls look classy - she appeared dishevelled in a striped vest top with a zip down the front of it and a pair of short shorts

Her straggly hair was unstyled and her roots were in need of treatment with a lighter brown shade coming through in stark contrast to the jet black colour of the rest of her do.

Hollywood gossip sites are currently awash with rumours that the out of work actress is on a downward spiral, with allegations regarding her financial situation and an apparent return to drug abuse.

In recent weeks she has been pictured partying, and seemingly inebriated, at various locations around Los Angeles.

Last week she hit three Hollywood hotspots, partying until 4.30am - by which time she had to be helped into a waiting car by her security.

She also made an appearance on the London party last month, visiting Bungalow 8 and late-night venue Jet Black.

An eyewitness at Jet Black alleged that Lohan was in a complete mess at the club, which stays open until eight in the morning.

Meanwhile, Mischa Barton looked positively immaculate in comparison with Miss Lohan.

The actress, 24, wore a knee-length dress covered in gold detailing with the waist pulled in with a thin black belt and accessorised with a pair of white strappy heels.

Miss Barton has also been making her presence felt on the Hollywood party scene in recent weeks.

Last week it was reported that she'd been seen vomiting outside Bar Marmont.

The New York Post's Page Six column claimed the actress was 'out of it', before describing the moment she threw up.

A source is alleged to have said: 'A few minutes after she comes in, she runs outside and vomits everywhere. And then she went back inside and hung out for the rest of the night.'

However her spokesperson refused to comment on the allegations.

Paris Hilton was also on hand to fill the party girl quota, the heiress has been remarkably well behaved in recent times and last night was no different.

Wearing a simple LBD covered with gold sequins, Paris was joined by her sister Nicky at the party.

Paris, 29, was recently pictured with her old friend Nicole Richie - the two have reconciled following a long-running feud.

Also present was director Eli Roth, who is currently dating Peaches Geldof.

The daughter of Bob Geldof writes a column for the magazine, although she didn't make an appearance at the party.
