After baring all for her new role in Calendar Girls just four weeks after giving birth, Jennifer Ellison must have been on cloud nine.

But it was back to reality for the new mother as she was pictured out shopping with husband Robbie Tickle and baby Bobby, who arrived in February.

The 26-year-old actress strolled through Liverpool carrying the shopping while her boxer husband pushed the buggy.

Ellison, who will be stripping off for Calendar Girls when it hits Liverpool’s Empire Theatre in September, cut a curvaceous figure in a flowing cream jumper dress over black leggings and boots.

Tickle kept it casual in jeans and a hooded top and remained glued to his phone as the couple hit the shops.

The former Brookside actress showed off her post-baby body in a promotional photo with the Liverpool cast of Calendar Girls earlier in the week.

Looking slim but healthy, it would be impossible to tell Ellison had only given birth a month earlier.

Ellison will be following in the footsteps of Kelly Brook, Gemma Atkinson and Hannah Waterman in stripping off for the show.

She will be starring alongside Bread actress Jean Boht, Hi De Hi's Ruth Madoc and Denise Black when the comedy-drama comes to Liverpool.

Relying on some strategically-placed props to preserve her modesty while on stage, Ellison will be joined by her husband and baby for the eight weeks that she will be performing for.
