It's not exactly the safest way to view a property. But fearless Jennifer Ellison wasn't going to be held back by a little thing like not having the keys.

The new mother, with the help of husband Robbie Tickle, hopped up on a steep ledge outside a building to peer through the window.

Robbie looked on as supermum Jennifer confidently peeked through the window of the commercial property in Liverpool.

It looks like the young actress, who will soon be seen on stage in the Liverpool production of Calendar Girls, may be diversifying her portfolio, as later she was seen entering a venue which looked like a nightclub.

Earlier, proud father Robbie was spotted leaving a restaurant with the actress and his newborn son tucked neatly into his zipped jacket.

With his hand wrapped around seven-week-old Bobby, the boxer made light work of his bundle of joy as the smiling couple headed to their car.

The pair, who wed in October last year, made their way from the Italian San Carlos eatery in Liverpool before going on a house-hunting spree in the city.

They were pictured looking at properties for rent and sale around the city centre area.

Former Brookside star Jennifer, 26, dressed down in casual leggings and a black top, teamed with studded cowboy-style boots.

Unabashed, Jennifer recently posed nude for the promotional campaign for Calendar Girls - which she has just signed up for.

She admitted: 'I need to go back to work. Not for money but for myself, my sanity.

'I can’t wait to get back to work, I don’t know how women can just sit at home all day. I’d go insane.'

The UK tour of hit musical Calendar Girls starts in July, and Jennifer's family will be travelling with her.
