Paris Hilton appears to have a new sidekick who is as blonde, fluffy and cute as herself.

The hotel heiress was spotted with her new friend while indulging in a spot of retail therapy in Bel Air, California, yesterday.

Toting the enormous big yellow bird, Paris appeared to be getting into the Easter spirit as she shopped for groceries.

Perhaps the socialite had decided to pick up a chick for her baseball player boyfriend, Doug Reinhardt.

Dressed down in a pink velour tracksuit, accessorised with pink trainers, pink-rimmed sunglasses and a pink bag, the star looked decidedly demure, compared to her usual flesh-flashing self.

Indeed the 29-year-old found herself censored recently when a beer advert she appeared in was pulled from Brazilian TV networks.

The advert featured Paris in a short black dress preening and rubbing a can of Devassa beer on herself to the delight of onlookers watching through the window.

The sultry ad was pulled after consumer complaints and a watchdog agency’s investigation.
