On the red carpet, Jennifer Aniston usually opts for a black, halterneck dress.

But at the French premiere of The Bounty Hunter last night, the 41-year-old actress surprised everyone when she stepped out in a colourful floor-length gown.

The former Friends star looked like a Quality Street in her salmon pink Christian Lacroix strapless gown and Manolo Blahnik strappy sandals.

Aniston's toned figure and impressive legs were covered up by the dress's billowing material, which swamped her slender frame.

Joining the actress at the premiere was her close friend Gerard Butler, who plays her ex-husband in the comedy movie.

After attending recent premieres on the film together in Los Angeles and London, the couple reunited in the City of Lights on Saturday.

They were spotted enjoying a dinner cruise with 20 other guests on the River Seine together.

An onlooker told People magazine: 'They were very close. They really warmed up the room.

'They kept hugging and touching each other.'

Following Sunday's screening at the Cinema Gaumont Marignan, the pair will also attend premieres in Berlin and Madrid together.

Despite their evident closeness, the couple have repeatedly denied reports they are dating.

In a recent interview however, the Scots actor did praise Aniston for having the best legs in Hollywood.

He said: 'She's vivacious, I mean she's just so alive inside, and that really shows through. And Jen actually does have the best legs in Hollywood.

'I don't think I have to tell you what my friends said when I was working with Jen Aniston. People love her; she's sexy. She's beautiful. My friends hate me that I get to work with her and they don't.'
